The State Government has provided Bundaberg East State School with $311,366 as part of the Investing for Success program. This funding will be used to increase the percentage of students in years 3 and 5 achieving above the National Minimum Standard for Reading, Writing and Numeracy in NAPLAN to 100% in 2018 and 2019 and to increase the percentage of students in Years 3 and 5 achieving the Upper to Bands for Reading and Numeracy in NAPLAN.

.Provide resources to support the teaching of Reading and Numeracy;

.Provide Teacher Relief (TRS) for profiling, coaching, mentoring and professional development;

.Provide TRS to complete Early Start Assessment of Prep Students;

.Provide TRS for teacher to attend North Coast Region Numeracy Program; and

.Employ teacher aides to support intervention in speech language for identified students.
