Bundaberg East State School will receive $334,172 to be used to 
*increase the percentage of students achieving results at or above the National Minimum Standard for Reading, Writing and Numeracy for Years 3 and 5 students to 100%.
*Increase the percentage of students in Years 3 and 5 achieving results within the Upper 2 Bands for Reading, Writing and Numeracy.
*Support the implementation of the Early Start materials (English) at entry and exit of Prep and exit of Year 1.
Our school will improve student outcomes by:-
*Employing teacher aides skilled through Professional Development to support reading, writing and numeracy.
*Providing release time for classroom teachers and teachers of students with disabilities to use school based and systemic data to develop, in collaboration with parents/carers and students, individualised learning goals and strategies for improvement for all students.
*Provide release time for Maths, English and Writing Teams to attend collaborative planning activities such as North Coast Numeracy Project and Pre- and Post- Moderation Days.
*Providing resourcing to enable completion of Early Start Assessment of students in Prep and Year 1.
*Provide teacher aide support to students identified as requiring speech and/or language support to meet National Minimum Standards.
*Provide release time for teachers to collaboratively plan and pre- and post- moderate assessment tasks.
